Kait is a former competitive dancer & accountant, who through her own personal journey and education with Active Life is passionate about helping individuals learn to prioritize their health without having to sacrifice the things they enjoy most in life. She was born & raised in Long Island, NY and has been a local to the Long Beach community since 2017. She resides here with her husband.
Kait started dancing at the age of 3 & continued through college as a member of the University of Delaware Dance Team, where she became a 3x National Champion. In 2012, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance and immediately went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. She worked in the finance industry for 10 years before deciding to take a leap of faith out of her comfort zone and switch careers.
As a former dancer, Kait spent most of her younger years trying to be the skinniest version of herself. She was introduced to strength + conditioning as part of the dance team, but she always thought it would never be something she could find enjoyment in, so she stopped after college. After taking a year off of exercising, Kait was determined to get back into some sort of movement. While working in Finance, she spent those same 10 years experimenting and trying to reset her own mindset around exercise & nutrition. Through years of research, trial & error and learning from Active Life, she has been able to find her own balance & a new level of enjoyment while living her own active lifestyle.
Outside of work, Kait enjoys spending time with her husband, family & friends. Her favorite activities include going to the beach and working on her own fitness. She is a lover of carbs, coffee, traveling & football. She thoroughly likes to feel as though she is getting the most out of life & living her life to its fullest potential.
