Schedule your free discovery call with one of our professionals. The purpose of this call is for us to learn if we are a good fit to help you by asking questions and answering yours. If we are the perfect fit to help, we’ll book an in-person consultation. If not, we will make a local referral to another trusted professional.

During your free consultation, we will revisit goals, assess ranges of motion, deliver pertinent educational content, and begin crafting your custom plan to accomplish your health, fitness, and lifestyle goals.

During your first 2-4 weeks you will work 1 on 1 with a professional to create a functional diagnosis, list of success metrics, and your custom exercise prescription.

During this phase, you will continue to work 1 on 1 with our professional team to gain confidence and competence in 4 key areas:

  1. Moving safely, effectively, and efficiently
  2. Reading and understanding exercise programming
  3. Improving lifestyle factors that directly impact goal achievement

Understanding Active Life primary principles as well as the foundations of recovery, capacity & exercise

Ascend

Once you achieve freedom of movement and no longer need 1 on 1 sessions, you can join our small group (Ascend) sessions. During these sessions, each client is performing their own custom program at a set session time with a maximum of 10 clients during that time. During these sessions, a professional is actively ensuring that everyone is receiving coaching, cueing, correcting, and feedback so you’re never left wondering “Am I doing this right?” This phase includes monthly mentorship meetings with your lead professional to discuss progress, review relevant education, and reassess as needed.

Freedom

Once you’ve accomplished your first set of goals and learned how to be successful we believe you’ve achieved Freedom to choose your next adventure. This may look like a maintenance program or one designed to help you summit Mt. Everest. In this phase, you’ve gained the skillset to edit generalized programming for yourself and have reclaimed your physical freedom.

Kelly

Kelly owns and operates a restaurant in Island Park, New York. From injuries in her collegiate athletic life, she has been unable to run (let alone sprint) for 25 years. Her injuries were compounded recently after a bad fall, and she was facing a future without the mobility needed for her career. Kelly turned to Active Life Long Beach to create and understand the outcomes she previously believed were impossible.

Mike

During Mike Geller's recovery from a horrific motorcycle accident, his Physical Therapy ended and he was left in limbo.  Unable to walk without crutches and with no plan to continue to improve he was becoming hopeless when he met Active Life Professional Larry Gaier.

Lorrie blinked and realized she was in her mid-fifties and didn't want to miss out on living an Active Life as she got older.  She had a high-stress job, a long commute, and a list of aches and pains that kept getting longer.
